memory error when opening pdf from container

i am trying to open a pdf in a container field but if the file is embbeded it just gives me a memory error, it works fine if i just make a link to the object, heeeelllp

i am using 5.5 on a pc with W98 64 megs of ram and 500 proc please help

looks like its time for an upgrade for the old beast

At least upgrade the memory, 64 mb is not very much. If Win98 should be used is another discussion, me myself has a dualboot-system, Win2k and 98. The processor is still quite adequate though.

When you say memory error, is it an illegal operation, fatal exception or what? As already suggested, more memory might help. Reinstall FM or the OS might help also. Personally, I would at least upgrade the OS to 2k and get more memory.
