Dear All,

I would like to know that there is a case which I want to work on a specific layout and field definition. My co-worker can not access to that layout. How can it be the case that I can work and my co-worker can access at the same time.

IS it Virtual Private Network or Citrix Metaframe the solution??? Someone have experience using Citrix and Filemaker could tell me ...I can work and edit .After all I could upload to Citrix so people can see the update ??

A couple of things could be happening. Only one person can modify a given layout (in Layout mode) at one time, the next person to try will get an error message. To modify fields, you must be the ONLY user.

Layouts will update with a "blink" for users when the person who is editing the layout commits the layout changes (i.e. changing to Browse mode or switching layouts). Before that instance, users will continue working with the unmodified layout.
