January 31, 200322 yr Someone was telling me about "Analyzer" by Waves of Motion. I thought for $289.00 I should get some feedback. Thanks
January 31, 200322 yr Not quite sure what you are asking. Why not just download a demo copy and try it out. Here is there URL http://wmotion.com/FMPro?-db=Log_.fp5&-lay=Blank&-format=in_main2.html&-Script=beep&-new and click on the Icon for Developer Tools Lee
January 31, 200322 yr Author I downloaded a copy of it a few days ago but I'm curious about those who have used it for awhile and their reaction to it with extended use. Someone may also know of other FMP programs of the same type that do a good job. If i'm investing that kind of money I want to be sure it's the best available. Thanks for your help,
January 31, 200322 yr My major complaint is that it is very slow. It will require at least 2 hours or more to run anything that is moderately large. You'll need to run a big solution overnite. You might also look at Brushfire from Chaparral Software. It runs much faster because its C++ driven, whereas Analyzer is mostly Filemaker. Brushfire needs to run on XP or Win 2000.
January 31, 200322 yr As a comparison, you should also check out some of the others that are available. Some of them are free, and provide some of the same information. I'm pretty sure that you will find just about all that are available at this URL. http://www.fmfiles.com/dev1.html HTH Lee
February 1, 200322 yr Also check out Bob Weaver's clever analyzer implementation that is available in the Sample Files Forum. I have put it to good use. New improved doc utility
