I have some databases running on FM server.

Should I do periodical operations to keep my solutions running smooth ?

For example, have the hard-drive to be periodically defragmented ?

Have the databases to be optimized (assuming that some kind of low-level optimization exists).

Defragmenting works.

The only optimization possible in FM is good design.
