Newbies rjoffe Posted June 29, 2003 Newbies Posted June 29, 2003 We recently upgraded the OS on our machine to win2k. Everything works great, except for a little anoying problem: We are using FMPro V5.0v3. In the Status Area (far left hand side of the screen) the Layout Pop-Up Menu has changed slightly. We have quitea few layouts, and in the past, the layout pop-up menu would create 3 columns with all the layouts defined. Now under Win2k we have just one column, and a down arrow at the bottom which allows us to scroll down the list. This scrolling is not nearly as convinient as having the multiple columns appear. Does anyone know how to change this so we get our multiple column listing back? Thanks, Ron
SteveB Posted June 30, 2003 Posted June 30, 2003 This is a function of the operating system, and has nothing to do with FM. There might be a switch in the Windows registry that could be changed. The Windows Power Tools might be of some help. Steve
Wendy T Posted June 30, 2003 Posted June 30, 2003 Hi Ron, I posed this same question in the "Right Brain" forum, thread title "layout pop-up menu in status area" I'm using FM5.5, Win 2000 Professional. Got lots of helpful suggestions but ultimately wasn't able to change the display. Let me know if you find a solution! cheers, Wendy
