I have just upgraded two machine from NT to 2K. On one filemaker 5 still works, the other it doesn't even bring a window up but I can see the process running in taskmanager. Any suggestions would be great.

is it a dell computer? disable the sound driver.

It can be any other computer with the same sound chip, I think it is Yamaha.

Or update FM to 5.5.x.

I wasn't sure about the last version number. Thanks for filling in the detail.
