I have a report that list about 500 different items. These items can be grouped into about 5 different categories. Is there a way that I can have a heading listed before a group of products? Ex: (Category)Audio: Product 1, 2,3...; Video: Product A, Product B...)

Look into creating subsummary parts, and make sure your sort includes the break fields for each one in the necessary order.
