two questions...

Featured Replies

I have 2 questions that may be very simple... All I want to do is put some pictures in the background of my main forms to make it look more presentable...Do I have to create containers for these or can I just copy and paste pictures??

My second question is: is there any way to show what the user is choosing before they choose it? I have hands over whatever button they are about to click...is there away to display text when the hand goes over a certain button?? For example, They put the cursor of the "new" button, I want some text to pop up when they move the cursor over "new" that says..."insert new record" or something like that...is this possible??

Thanks a lot

Hi ....

You can paste an image directly onto a layout, or into a container field (either one), but the container IMO is the better way to go.

The hand rollover is not avialbe for version older than 6.0 or maybe 5.5 (I'm not sure of 5.5 as I never looked at upgrading to it) .

HI Lee and tfman,

IMO= In my opinion.

As for the text thing you are looking for try the link below. I have tried this and it works quite well. Look at the simplehelp plug in.

Sorry, IMO is short for In My Opinion. BTW (By The Way), get used to these abbreviations because they are used a lot.

Yes, create the container field and just use that.
