How do I create a sort of "Log" that will display, row by row, certain fields from each record? Is this a "Portal"? Cheers, to anyone that takes the time to help.

Portals display related records. But you could perhaps design something with a portal do do what you want, depending of course on what it is you wanted to do, which you didn't say. Sort of.

If I am interpreting your question correctly.... perhaps you are after the "view as list" option from the view menu?

When browsing, this shows the current found set in rows, with the same fields displayed for each record. By keeping the body part small, many records will fit on the screen.
