Hey all,

I was wondering if it was possible to attach files to records in filemaker? I know you can insert pictures and quiktime movies, but would it also be possible to attach certain files like powerpoint or word docs, so that it works like a hyperlink and opens the file when clicked? Or am i just asking for a function thats just ridiculous? Thanks in advance!

Yes you can ... Check out FileMaker 7

Version: v7.x

Platform: Mac OS X Panther

To elaborate just a little smile.gif

FM7 now allows you to insert any file into a container and preserve the file format. You can use the new "export field contents" to get the file back out in its original form.

And with a couple of Terrabytes of storage per file.... well... let your imagination go wild.
