A user I support is unable to print one specific file (on a local, USB Brother 1440 or a networked HP 4300). The printers are working fine. Other FM files print fine.

I've moved the file a MAC (OS X) and it prints (different printer). I moved the file to another XP machine and tried the same to printers and also was unable to print.

There are no passwords (and associated limitations) on the file.

Can anyone suggest how I could fix this?

When I run into these unexplainable 'stupid' problems, I try recovering the file. I know that if the file is damaged it shouldn't be printable on either operating system or with different printers, and it never seems to make sense.

Thanks for the suggestion. I tried to recover the file, and the recovered file still does not print to either of the two printers.
