Bob Weaver's "SoftDoc"

Featured Replies

Hi Folks,

Does anyone know if Bob Weaver's "SoftDoc" has evolved since it's first appearance sometime around Oct 2002 ?

The Thread

Are there other ways to get a FM project analysis/dependencies if one does not have DDR and/or FM Developer?

FM seems very popular but it lacks constructs that would make modifying someone else's work a lot more easier I think.

Thanks for any help.

FileMaker Version: 6

Platform: Windows 2000

There several tools available, you can start by taking a look here at fmfiles.com Your only concern is to be sure the tool is crossplatform, some of them are platform specific.

Hi again Lee!

I had found most of these tools a while back.

Since I'm using the customer's copy of FMP6 to do the changes,

buying FMD5.5/6/7 for this one-time modifications is not very economical.

Analyzer 3.6

- Quote: "Analyzer is the perfect FileMaker Pro assistant"

(false... One needs FMD5.5/6)

Analyzer Lite

- Vanished from the face of the earth

Brushfire 2

- Needs FMD5.5/6

Aerie Demo

- Link is dead

Visualizer 1.0

- Mac only

MetadataMagic 2.0

- Downloaded Demo, Will take a look at it.

Thanks for the help!

Bingo!

Thanks Lee, MetadataMagic seems to do the trick and the demo

is limited to 3 files.... guess what: I only have 3 files smile.gif

Merci!
