Does anyone know of a way to disable the wheel mouse scroll action - but just for filemaker?

I'm developing a custom solution which will be relying on a script to move between records, obviously if people are just scrolling down using the wheel mouse, the scripts aren't being performed.

I'm waiting for the next version of the securefm menumagic plugin from www.nmci.com to control the ctrl+down/up aspect of record navigation - by setting a script to those hotkeys.

Does anyone know how to disable the mouse wheel button scrolling effect in windows - but just for filemaker?
