May 14, 200421 yr I need a decent calendar system. Nothing to huge.. just a nice pop-up calendar (a pop-up that does not fill the whole screen) that I can buy and incorporate into my app. I wanna allow my users to select the calendar, select a date and populate a field with the date. I am NOT selling this app. I work for a non-profit and this is for internal use only. Thanks... Oh and kind of cheap would be nice too. Thanks...
May 14, 200421 yr Hi Crag, There are several calendars available that could fit your needs, including this one posted by djgogi in the forum Here I have probably looked at every one that is available, but it is hard to judge just which one would fit into your specific needs. I ended up building my own using these files as inspiration: "Creating a Calendar" By: Thomas D. Gelin URL: http://www.fmfiles.com/dev4.html "One Field Calendar Calc" By: Steve URL: http://www.fmfiles.com/tnt1.html "CALENDAR DEMO" By: Steve Murray URL: https://www.powerfiles.com/ [color:"red"] See Note: You could do a search at these sites for calendar, event, schedule, etc. http://www.fmfiles.com/ http://www.acmetech.com/ http://www.databasepros.com/ http://www.dwdataconcepts.com/ http://www.powerfiles.com/index.html [color:"red"]Note: At Power File site, you will need to just do a find for all files in the Resources, and go than go to page two. However, I belive this can't be done in FM6. FM7 is another matter (the New Window function). But I'm forced to use 6 for this now. This is also my first REAL FM project. All the database work I've done before this has been with FoxPro or Oracle. So, FM is a different world. Thanks for you help.
May 14, 200421 yr If you did a search for "Calendar" at the sites I mentioned, you should have had at least 3 Mini /Pop Up/ Down) Calendars.
May 17, 200421 yr Author I did Lee. And found a couple that would do. Thanks. I also am going to do what you suggested and just create my own calendar system. Great way to learn more about FM.
