I have a field in FM 5 that refuses to de-shadow itself. I have checked in Object Effects and in Borders... nothing is set to shadow. Any clues as to how I can fix this? TIA!

Hi, Charisma! Are you sure it is an effect and not a manually-created effect using drawing tools in the layout mode? Try going to LAYOUT MODE and select/deleting. If it looks like 1 object, check to see if you can UNGROUP it under the Arrange menu... I just grouped a field to a shadow box and it looked the same as 1 object.

If not, we'll try again, eh?

Ummm... I tried that... good suggestion. But it was a no-go. The field is not in a group. Somehow this thing is shadowed and I just can't figure it out! What can I try next?? I'm going nuts!! frown.gif

Is it Field Formatted to be a popup menu?

Can you drop another occurence of the field on the layout.

If that one is shadowless, use it instead.
