Newbie::::Refresh calculation Help

Featured Replies

Hello All,

I did a database with some simple equations, and it works fine. But when I change the #'s, the result still give me the last answer (doesn't change). I thought of making a refresh script or use the help from FM. I am just very troubled. I didn't understand the help too. Can anyone help on a script or a better solution?

Many thanx

Hi, ronnie! I think it can depend upon a number of things, including where the equations are, where they are stored, and when they are calculated. Things like lookups and auto-enters will not recalculate and you may have to double-check storage options, too. Where are the equations and what do you want them to do?

The funny thing I think it was working before, not quite sure though.

I have this field where I put usage of a product and then the other field just add 10% of the other field (would this be considered auto-enters?).

Ok, what do you mean by when they are calculated?.

Oh, forgot to mention....

On storage option:

all that is checked is indexing Off, and automatically turn indexing on if needed.
