I've run some searches but can't seem to find an answer to my question. Here's the deal...

Is there any way to have a FMP 6 database open an external MP3 file and play it in Windows Media Player (this is all under Win XP)? I'm trying to develop a DB that contains MP3 file information with a link/button on the record that will automatically open up the associated MP3 and play it in WMP.

I've tried using the "Open URL" script command and pointing it to the file, but it's not working. I'd appreciate any help/feedback you folks can provide.

Try DDE Execute("filename") where filename is the Windows full path name.
