Pasting first day ofcurrent month and current year

I would like to set up a script that pastes the first of the current month and beyond in a date field - 1/current month/current year...

I think I should use Paste calculated value but I can't seem to get the formula right

any help appreciated

would this not paste the current day as well as month & year?

To be more format friendly, Set Field [yourdate, Date( Month(Status(CurrentDate)), 1, Year(Status(CurrentDate)) )].
