I'm considering upgrading from my ancient FMPro 4 to 6 (I don't think I need 7, and 6 can be had for less $). Can anyone tell me if my files will migrate to 6 without hassles? Are there other issues I should know about? Many thanks.

Hi Susan,

It is a very easy process to move from 4 to 5/6. You will be very happy with v6 by the way.

Thanks, Lee -- I'm glad to get some feedback. In reading about FMP 7 I saw that older files need to be converted to work with the new version. Can you tell me if anything similar lurks with version 6?

FM 7 is a completely different animal than FM 6. Your conversion will be painless.
