So I have upgraded to FileMaker 7 which has solved a lot of my problems from 6, but I need to convert my 7 file back to a 6 for another client. Any way of doing this? All attempts I have made have come up lame. Thanks in advance.

You can export the data, but not the structure. It sounds like you started with 6 -- you'll have to go back to that version and add on your new stuff as best you can.

Tell the client to get with the program. Or get Developer 7 and give him a stand-alone copy of your solution.

Oh my goodness. Not every business can afford (or want) to upgrade. It is easy to say such things when it's not YOUR client, isn't it?

Be diplomatic and explain all the new features and benefits of version 7!
