Backup database

I'm looking for some direction on a good Backup Software. FM help suggests:A good third-party backup program should provide multiple copies of a database as sources for restoration. A scheme involving rotating backups can accomplish this. Typically, this method involves separate backup copies over no less than a two-week rotation. The file is backed up to a set on day one, a new set on day two, until ten sets of backups exist (assuming a five day work week). On the eleventh day, the first set is reused. This type of rotation ensures that a lurking problem will not spoil your chances of a complete file restoration.

But where do you find something lioke this. Any suggestions will be appreciated very much

We use Veritas Backup Exec for all of our systems inculding FileMaker. I personally don't deal with it much but our network guys seem to like Veritas. It may be out of your budget but it fits us well. Here's a link:

Make sure you are not copying files that are currently open! Either close the file or use FMServer to backup and then copy/burn this file.

Thanks for the reply, but it looks like veritas is for a server. I'm looking for a backup program for my pc (not a server) Thanks I'll keep looking I'm sure I find something.
