Second row for text in Layout mode

Featured Replies

How can continue typing text at second row in layout mode. In v6 that was Enter key at middle of keyboard, but in V7 - not. I use Windows.

Right-click field, Field Behavior, unclick 'Enter' checkbox.

Whoa. In Layout Mode? Your fieldbox should expand as you type a label and the field itself won't let you type into it in Layout Mode. Not sure if I addressed your question.

You may wish to expand your questions a bit so we don't have to guess how best to help you.

Hi aaa,

I can [color:"red"] not replicate your problem on my Mac. It seems that your "Return" key (the one in the alphabet area), has taken on the "Enter" key (the one in the Numeric area) attributes. Did you change how the "Return" key is to act in FileMaker of something. I know a lot of people have change the "Enter" key to act as a "Tab" key??

Ummm, I was thinking of vs. 7. Hard to switch my mind back and forth on occasion. blush.gif

Hi MoonShadow,

But it is version 7 that they were talking about.

However, I think bouncing back and forth between the two version confuses everyone from time to time.
