Michael Reade Posted September 1, 2005 Posted September 1, 2005 Is it possible to use tabs in list view? That would be great! Thanks, Michael Reade
Lee Smith Posted September 1, 2005 Posted September 1, 2005 Hi Michael, I don't understand the question. I can use tabs in v6, and v7 in List View, and Table View. Lee
Michael Reade Posted September 1, 2005 Author Posted September 1, 2005 Sorry, I'm not being clear... I'm referring to the new Tab Tool. It works nicely in a detail view... What I'd also like to do is to have it work in list view. For example... I could have a list view layout, TOC of an interface table, to display various list views of different related tables, depending on the tab choice. That means that the top part of the Tab Tool (with the tabs) much be in the header or leading summary. For some reason all the fields in the body get stacked on top of each other. Just wondering if there is some way to make it work. Thanks, Michael
comment Posted September 1, 2005 Posted September 1, 2005 (edited) This is going to be confusing, with the word "tab" used for too many things. I believe the question refers to the new "Tab Control" object. And it appears it will only work when placed entirely within a single layout part. Note also that panel selection is global.
