I'm thinking of upgradeing to 8, I was thinking of taking the step from Pro to Advanced.

I've read you can do all kinds of things wiht Advanced, my question is though, can someone running Pro open the file you developed with Advanced and see all the things you can only develop with Advanced.

Also, In 8 is that bug with Print Setup fixed.

Pro users can use tooltips, custom functions, and custom menus developed in Advanced, but they cannot modify nor create them.

IMHO: Get Advanced. As a programmer it gives you more power to develop solutions with tighter code and a better GUI.
