Is it possible to completely remove access to the layout browser completely. I know I can close the status area before I create a standalone database but the user would still have access to the different layouts through the menu at the lower left hand side where the zoom menu is located. Can anyone tell me if that area can be removed or stop access to the layouts through it?

Set up a privilege set that doesnt allow access to Layout Modifications. Then create a user account that uses that new privilege set.
