Tried search and could not find the answer. If I get 8.5 and develop a file, can a person using 8.0 use the file? Between 8.0 and 7.0 there were no problems. I need to keep that basic compatibility. Thank you.

The same type of concerns exist. In other words, v8 can not use the new tools like Web Browser.

Piggybacking on Lee's comment...

You may not be using the webviewer, but you may be using the new naming objects feature (ie naming tabs objects). Personally, I feel that the object naming capability is a reason to get everyone up to date to 8.5. Otherwise, you will have to put into your code the old method of going to a particular tab if using tabs.
