I recently upgraded to FM Pro 9, and all seemed fine for the first few days. I then replaced my old keyboard with a new wireless one with mouse, and I am getting frequent screen flicker. I've read a few posts on this, and checked my video driver, which is up to date. There were a few references in earleir posts to disabling features in the mouse that might have something to do with it. Does anyone have any ideas there? Thanks for any help.

What kind of video card do you have?

Put the old keyboard (or any other wired keyboard) and see what hapens.

I have a Thinkpad with an Intel Mobile 945GM Chipset. I'm pretty sure that is the video card on this machine. I've tried updating the driver with no luck. Thanks for any advice.

Do you have a model number for your thinkpad?

It's an X60 model # 1709 CTO

if I had to guess...its the wireless driver...let me guess...is it a windows keyboard? I had a similar problem from the wireless mouse, shut down the driver, and now both the mouse works and the screen stopped.

Are there other devices in the vicinity that could be emitting a signal that is interferring with the wireless keyboard? THis could include, among other items, large monitors, wireless bases stations operating on certain channels, cordless telephones (not cell phones), wireless perimeter alarms, etc.

I assume you mean it's flickering constantly in all applications, rather than just in FileMaker?

It if it's it's highly likely to be a screen or driver issue.
