how can i provide access to a yearly calendar in a pop-up menu? must i manually enter every date?

The easiest way is to display records from a file as the menu list. This way you can use a script to generate the date entries in the support file. -bd

Check out the current issue of FileMaker Magazine (www.filemakermagazine.com). I believe they have an article on how to do just that.
