where can I find definitions of invoice terms like "line item"

This isn't particularly FM jargon. Line Items on a invoice are the items being invoiced.

2 1234 16oz can Peaches .79 1.58

3 5678 8oz Tube Toothpaste 1.15 3.45

The can of peaches is a line item on the invoice (or purchase order, etc.). -bd
