Does FileMaker Pro have a reader associated with it? I am collaborating with someone who owns FileMaker Pro and only need to search their database. I do not need to edit/create records - just search/view. Please let me know where I can find such software if it exists.

No reader available; best I can suggest is that your friend get FMP Developer Kit. That way, he/she can create a standalone (or "runtime") version of the database -- essentially, creating a new application with the database. Then you can have a copy and use it to your heart's content.
