I currently scan reports into container fields but this eats up lots of memmory. I am looking for recommendations for a character recognition plug-in or software that can work well with FMP5 solution to convert the scanned data into text that can be entered into a text field. Many thanks. Greg

I use the Carre Lite version of OCR that came with my Epson scanner. Once the text is scanned and recognized I just copy and paste. I did add a button, (Open URL script step) in FM to start the scanning program.
