I have a problem that is driving me crazy. Here's the deal: I have a simple text field on a layout. When I print the layout, the field prints, but without any text (ie the borders are there, but no text).

I've tried:

1. changing the font type, color, & size.

2. making sure the "Do not print this object" field was not checked

3. copying the field

4. deleting the field from the database and recreating it

Anyone know what's going on?

Chances are you are not printing the record you a looking at. Make sure in the FileMaker printing options that "Current Record" or "Records Being Browsed" is appropriately checked. -bd
