DykstrL Posted March 29, 2001 Posted March 29, 2001 I've seen several posts concerning the scroll wheel mouse, but now I can't find them. Anyway, I was doing some experimenting and found out some of the behaviors of a scroll wheel mouse with FileMaker. First, other than manually going into the mouse software setup and deisabling the wheel, you can't disable it in FileMaker, however most you probably already know that. If a layout is set to View and Form, the wheel toggles through the records in the file. If it is set to View as List or View as Table, the wheel scrolls up and down the display, similar to the behavior on most other programs, but does not change the current record. This information probably is not much use, but who knows?
Eunmi66 Posted April 3, 2001 Posted April 3, 2001 Dykstrl. A post you might find helpful is from February 14, 2001 by ALESC re disabling a wheel mouse on the Windows platform. Did a search on "Mouse" and there are other hits also. HTH Eun Mi
