Hi,

We have been run the Filemaker Server 5.0 in Windows Dell machine. Most the users are using Windows 98, 95 and MAC, we DON’T have any problem when there are so many user log in the system at the same time as long as it’s not exceed 250 users. However, yesterday we just setup a network in a room that has 10 PC running Windows 2000 for training class. These ten PC’s will network/access/login to a database system that served by the Filemaker Server 5.0 as mentioned above.

It seems we have a network problem when we ALL (10 PC’s) try to the login at the same time which we never this kind of problem before. Other word, 10 users cannot login at the same time. Once again, these 10 PC’s are running Windows 2000.

What’s going wrong? Is the FMP 5.3 is work under Windows 2000? If that is the case, then what about FMP 5.5? Is FMP 5.5 the solution?

Any advise?

ASAIK there is no 5.3.

Only 5 and 5.5.

Both works well with W2000.
