I’m looking to increase my knowledge of FileMaker and would appreciate your recommendations of training materials. I would say my current level of expertise in FileMaker is intermediate, but I’m weak in scripting and calculations.

I use FileMaker 5.5 on PC & Mac

Probably the best book on scripting is 'Scriptology' by Petrowsky & Osborne. Even tho it covers versions 3 & 4 it is still very relevant to the current version. See it at www.scriptology.com

But it is considerably outdated now. Perhaps either MAtt or John Mark will do a new version based on all the changes since FMP 4.

As a poor textbook learner, I found VTCO disc or VTCO University helpful for a lot of different software. They do have a FMP 5 CD or online class. $25/mo for online.
