How to choose the starting label?

Hi there. I'm fairly new to FM 5.0 for the Mac, and I hope this question isn't too elementary.

I'm printing mailing labels using a standard Avery 3-column layout, and it's working great. My only problem is: How to I tell FM to start printing on a certain label (e.g. column 2, label 6)?

TIA for any help!

Paul

Your question is simple but the answer is not.

I can not think of a "good" way to do that.

Enter the label number you want to start at to a global field, run a script that creates one less blank records, prints, deletes the blank records.

That is not a good way to do it but it will work.

Maybe some has a better idea.

Don't forget to sort the records before printing, so that the blank records go to the top.
