Layout Difficulty with Tabs

Without UT training, I designed and maintain a FileMakerPro v 7 database utilized by my office.

One of several layouts (titled: Students) has a tab system (Contact Info, Contact Summary, Fall 2009, Jan 2010 and Spring 2010). After making an adjustment to a few fields within the Contact Summary tab I then clicked the "Save" option. Since then, the fields for ALL of the tabs have been appearing in ALL of the tabs (See images provided). Thus, the fields for the entire layout are appearing for every tab.

Any assistance would be most appreciated.

Sorry for being unable to explain this better. :(

Check in layout mode that no label and no field is outside its tab.

To better see their borders, select each label and field.

Tab controls are available only in version 8 and higher.

How did you know ? :

Perhaps I phrased it incorrectly as I am using version 7. The "tabs" I am referring to are a layout function that creates layers - please see pictures attached.

If you are having trouble attaching a file, this might help explain how. Link

Tabs don't exist in FM7. You're getting the expected results. Time to upgrade.
