FMS 11 on OS X, ODBC connections aren't cleaned up when dead

Featured Replies

Hi

I'm running FileMaker Server 11 on OS X.

I have a Windows app that updates one of the files via ODBC. If this app dies or loses network connectivity etc., the connection still shows up in the FMS Admin Console. Restarting the app just causes another connection to show up in the Admin Console. It does not appear to be possible to get rid of these phantom connections.

The same happens if I write a Python script that connects to the file via ODBC. When the script exits, a connection still shows up in the Admin Console.

Is there anything I can do about this?

Thanks.
