Newbies jschvili Posted December 30, 2012 Newbies Posted December 30, 2012 Hi, We hired a Russian consultant that with ScriptMaster built an integration with our web shop API using XML over http. He is a very good technician, even though we think he hard coded to much instead of using the build in functionality in FM (which is often a source for bugs). Â This guy have now got a new job and don't have time for additional clients like us. That's why we're now looking for a new consultant company to help us. This is mainly what we need help with. Â 1. Move file storage back to normal FM container and add/change that in the ScriptMaster api, then upgrade from FM 11 to 12 and use it's external storage of files. The last consultant built a home made external solution that we want to remove. Â 2. Structure, organize, clean and document the whole application. Several technician has been involved. New important scripts/tables/fields/layouts are mixed with old that are not used any more. We need to take a whole new grasp over the application and make it understandable for any new technician and for us. We do not want to get depended on one person/company again. Â 3. With FM 12 clean up and make more professional layout, both in look and user friendly. Â 4. Continuously development on an hourly basis. Â We've already spent to much money on this app. We don't want to build a Porsche. We've learn to keep it simple, but structured and stable.
