Hello.

I'm getting a URL Prefix error when trying to connect to the database. I'm a newbie with FMStudio Pro.

I've attached screenshots to show the issue.

FIleMaker Pro 12 Advanced

Dreamweaver CS6

FileMaker Server Advanced installed on windows server

Your root directory may only need to be to the html root - /afs/uncg.edu/html/

Try that anyway...

Unfortunately, that didn't work. I believe in this case, I don't have write permissions to the html folder.

So, I scrapped the entire remote directory and decided to use local host instead. I used xampp to install the necessary files and started apache and msql (just in case).

I followed the guide at http://reference.fmwebschool.com/FMStudio_Pro_Complete_Guide_Chapter_2 to the letter. I'm still getting the prefix error.

I purchased FMStudio Pro because I thought it would be easier than writing straight code......

Here is a link to the most current screen shots for the local host. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1zTtCLxwr4n29stlYSLUgyUUXG_zHCPDx34FETkmpvoY/edit?usp=sharing

Thanks for your help.

I solved the problem myself.
