User Abort does not work in MacOS X

I have been try to abort scripts from the keybouard using command-period or esc.

But none of these work. The scripts don't have the abort script in them.

I have tried clean db files and old in MacOS X and the scripts will not abort if I tell them to.

The same db scripts will abort in MacOS 9.

Has anyone seen this in FM 5.5v2 MacOS X.
