Has anyone had this problem? Sometimes when I quit Filemaker it takes a couple of minutes for it to completely quit, even when all files are closed.

Are you using any plugins? They sometimes need to close down and write log files etc after you quit the application.

Nope, just bone stock FM8 Advanced

Have you checked for any broken file references? I've had FM slow down on quit if there is an unresolved file reference. You do not indicate whether this is stand-alone or served; it would help to understand your setup a bit.

Hi LaRetta,

Most of the time I don't have any files open. FM will be sitting idle for about 30 minutes as I do other things, then I choose to quit FM and . . . . slow going.
