November 11, 200619 yr Control-click on the FileMaker application and select Show Package Contents. From there the path is: Contents/Resources/English.lproj/FileMaker Pro 8 Help/ This is very useful, as the files are standard HTML and can be opened in any browser, which is much faster than Apple Help. I have bookmarked: file:///Applications/FileMaker%20Pro%208.5%20Advanced/FileMaker%20Pro%20Advanced.app/Contents/Resources/English.lproj/FileMaker%20Pro%208%20Help/functionsTOC.html and file:///Applications/FileMaker%20Pro%208.5%20Advanced/FileMaker%20Pro%20Advanced.app/Contents/Resources/English.lproj/FileMaker%20Pro%208%20Help/script-stepsTOC.html

December 4, 200619 yr Genx, Drew_S is using a Mac and the F1 key does not pull up the help file. There is a "Help" key on the Mac keyboard, usually above the delete key. Just one of the few differences between the mac and pc keyboards... Mike
