I recently upgraded a client of mine to FM 8.5 from FM 8.0 (Windows Version, Using FM Server8.0v4 as host. After the upgrade I noticed that a 3 of out of my 5 workstations were having the following printing issue. When a print request issued the print dialog box appears and the user selects the printer. Regardless of which printer they choose it will default to the default printer. But this only happens on a few computers, not all of them. Also the computers that are being printed to are networked printers that are attached to workstaions on the network. Has anyone delt with anything like this. Nothing on this network has changed and no other programs are experiencing this, only FM.

There are many posts that complain of printing issues in 8. Perhaps the recent 8.5v2 updater may help.

Thanks for the response. I see that PCL 6 does correst the issue, however if there is no PCL 6 driver for thte printer you use youre still up the creek without a paddle. Anyone have any idea if this was addressed in 8.5v2? 8.0 didnt have this problem. UGH!
