I'm sure there is a simple answer I just don't know what it is.

I built a solution on a Mac and just put it onto a PC laptop. Each time I try to change or add something to the PC I get a message saying I cannot modify the record.

What do I have to do to make this work. I checked the Mac copy and it was zipped with Read-Write approval.

It sounds like the System locked the file. On the Mac you can change this by using "Get Info" (not sure about the Win side), and select the "Read and Write". In past discussion, it was noted that for some reason, when you use the CD to move the file, it will changes these to Read Only sometimes.

Just select it on the Window Machine at the Finder Level, and change it back.

I wonder if you're using the word "solution" and referring to a runtime. Runtimes must be created on their specific platform.

So, you can't copy a runtime made on a Mac to a WinPC and have it work.

But if you are talking non-runtime, perhaps you haven't expanded it on the PC? You need to right-click and select Extract All.
