ron G Posted June 18, 2013 Posted June 18, 2013 I am using FM 12 04 advanced on Windows. I created a report that uses 10 pt Verdana font. But, when I distribute the report to a user, when he runs the report it looks like 16pt TImes Roman. Huh? Is there someway to 'force install' a font on a user machine? Or is there some other source to explain this phenomena? Thanks Ron I just heard from the user and DOES have Verdana installed on his PC. Is this weird or what?!
ron G Posted June 19, 2013 Author Posted June 19, 2013 Is his machine a mac or win? Like mine, his too is running Windows 7.
Vaughan Posted June 19, 2013 Posted June 19, 2013 Use only fonts that are installed by default on both Mac and Windows. Arial is a solid choice. Note that MS Office installs a large number of fonts, these are cross platform, but consider that not everybody has MS Office.
