Cannot open PC FMP records made from PC ver 5.01,to Mac Using FileMaker Pro 11,

 

is there a “translator” that will import these older FMP PC ver 5.01 to FileMaker Pro 11 advanced  11.0v4  on Mac Mac Lion ?

A FM5 file will have an ".fp5" extension and file format.  FM11 uses the ".fp7" file format.  But 11 can convert an fp5 file to fp7.  You do have to convert it first before you can import.  Just try to open the .fp5 file with FM11 and it will step you through the conversion process
