My only problem is now that I can't get the fields to actually take the data i am putting in  in Webviewer. 

 

I have a portal with a button and when i click on that button a popover shows up (see image attached) if i try to enter anything in the first field it doesn't take it. I get no error message but the field just go back to blank. is this some bug? i am using filemaker13. and firefox 28. both up to date.

 

 

 

However the functionality works fine in the popover when i am not in web viewer.

 

any ideas?

I suppose that you mean WebDirect where you say Web Viewer.

This is a bug in FMS 13. Popovers generated in a portal contain fields that are related to the first row of a portal. Given the fact that this is widely discussed I think this will be addressed in the upcoming v2 version of FMS. Nobody knows when this will see the light.
