April 16, 201411 yr I have a report layout (see attached) that has two columns (far right) that I would like to have summed. e.g "1" under the first of the right side columns and "4" for the farthest right column. I cannot see how I can go about doing this as the raw list will consist of multiple occurrences of the same customers (hence the need for a sub-summary layout). I appreciate any advice on how this can be best represented. Thanks, Lance example.tiff
April 16, 201411 yr IIUC, you just need to create summary fields and place them into a sub-summary part; see if the attached sample file helps you along. Note that while you're summarising, you might as well include the person's data in that summary; and of course, use a relational structure. SubSummaryExample_eos.fmp12.zip
April 16, 201411 yr Author eos, that's fantastic! I'll study this and I never thought of the relational structure with my issue. I'll keep that in mind when working on similar tasks. Thank you! L.
