charlie12342 Posted January 2, 2017 Posted January 2, 2017 FileMaker 15.0.2 file path is not available with Command-click on header of database view in browse mode. Running OSX 10.11.3.
Wim Decorte Posted January 2, 2017 Posted January 2, 2017 Not sure what you mean; just tried this in both FM15 and 14 and neither works. What's the header? Part of the FM app or part of the layout? You can always get the file path in the data viewer by using the Get(FilePath) function.
charlie12342 Posted January 2, 2017 Author Posted January 2, 2017 Thanks for reply. In the Mac Finder, the window has its name at center of top of window (right of the red-yellow-green dots). For example - Contacts Database. In the Mac Finder, Command-click on the file name usually shows a drop-down file path. I want to be able to check location of a FM Pro file without doing a file name search in the Finder.

This is only true for a certain type of windows. You can recognize these by the icon to the left of the window title. Filemaker windows are not of this type (I presume there are security reasons behind this decision). 1
charlie12342 Posted January 2, 2017 Author Posted January 2, 2017 Thanks! That answers my question. cj
